What you plant lasts.

Hasanats is a web app for Muslims, families and mosques. The khutbah in your own language, the Quran word by word, and a directory of almost six thousand mosques.

Runs in your browser. No app store, nothing to install. You can read without an account.

Why this exists

You already have prayer times. What is missing is what gets said.

Every Friday, something is said in thousands of prayer halls that nobody can find again afterwards. There is no archive, no translation, no way to come back to it at home.

Hasanats turns every sermon into something that stays: readable in your own language, easy to find after Friday, and useful for the board that wants to know what its hall needs.

What runs today

Three things, and they work now.

Daylight falls through the tall windows of a prayer hall with wooden balustrades

The khutbah, in the language you speak

Scan the QR code in the hall and read along live while the imam speaks. Afterwards the text stays in your masjid's archive, so you can come back to it at home.

Three languages today: Dutch, French and English. That is what the app has now, not what we plan to add.

The Quran, word by word

114 surahs, 6,236 verses, and 82,456 words with their translation underneath. Read, listen, practise. During recitation, the word you hear lights up.

Text: Tanzil, Uthmani mushaf. Translation: Siregar (Dutch). Transliteration: alquran.cloud. Recitation: Al-Husary, Al-Minshawi and Abdul Basit, each the full 114, linked from EveryAyah and so not hosted by us.

Your family, your garden, your remembrance

Every name is a tree. Parents, partner, children and those who went before us, together in one living garden. When someone passes away, the community stands up: one message, a wave of du'a, support for the family.

What you plant lasts.

A sadaqah jariya keeps going after you are gone.

For the board

From sermon to community, in fifteen minutes.

Mawaqit stays where it is. Hasanats only takes over the screen in the hall if you choose that.

  1. Claim your page

If your mosque is already in the directory, claim that page and manage the details yourself.

  2. Publish the khutbah

Print the QR code for the hall. Anyone who scans it reads along live in their own language.

  3. See which languages your hall needs

One tap after the khutbah: understood or not. Aggregated and anonymous, never a profile of a person.

  4. Manage members, classes and janaza

On your phone, no technical knowledge needed, nothing separate to install.

What you can count on

Four promises that do not change.

  1. Checked by people

Religious text only goes online after a person has read it. No machine publishes anything unseen.

  2. No ads

No ads, no selling of data, no guilt-tripping to get you back.

  3. Self-hosted in Europe

Our own servers and keys. The recitation audio is the exception: it comes from EveryAyah, and we say so openly.

  4. Children first

No social layer for young children. Parents stay in control.

For the little ones

Hasanats Kids, from age 3.

Watch and learn: short stories and surahs to say along. No social layer, no ads, and a child sees one thing at a time. The parent sets it up and keeps the key.
